Song Thrush in Wisteria Print

Availability: In stock

Song Thrush in Wisteria Print by renowned wildlife artist Ian Griffiths, this incredibly detailed painting has been reproduced as a 5 " square print presented in an 8" mount ready for framing.

Using his unique style and perception of wildlife Ian has beautifully captured this familiar British bird. The print features a song thrush sat in the colourful foliage of a wisteria tree.

Resident in the UK all year long, it can be found in gardens, parks and woods, essentially anywhere with trees. Recent years have seen its number begin to decline sharply. Its unique habit of repeating song melodies that it hears makes it quite unique among birds. Its diet mainly consists of worms, snails and fruit, of which snails are a particular favourtie, Song Thrushes breaking their shells against rocks.
